It is difficult to accept the sidereal distance between a beautiful
afternoon between chat and beautiful things and the news of the umpteenth
shipwreck of people in the Mediterranean Sea . Before
hearing about it I was drawing this
mother and child at the railway station. It seems to me the most beautiful
image of hope in this unbalanced world.
E’ difficile accettare la
distanza siderale tra un bel pomeriggio tra chiacchere e cose belle e la
notizia dell’ennesimo naufragio di persone nel mar Mediterraneo. Prima di
sentire la notizia disegnavo questa mamma e bambina in stazione. Mi sembra la
più bella immagine di speranza in questo mondo disequilibrato.
